Lying

Many people resort to lying in difficult situations. Apart from that, there are also psychological problems such as constantly lying. According to research, people with an extroverted personality are more likely to lie. In the same study, women lie at almost the same rate as men. In this case, there is no gender discrimination regarding lying. Women may lie more about others in social settings. Men's lies, on the other hand, are predominantly concentrated on topics that concern themselves.

Body Language Reveals the Lie

Lying shows distinct characteristics in children who take their parents as role models during childhood. Children generally learn to lie from their parents within the family. Lying has nothing to do with genetics. Generally, mother, father, sibling, friend, and environmental factors are the determining factors. If a child sees someone lying to get out of a difficult situation in their own environment, they can also take this as an example and do the same thing. They can even develop lying as a form of defense. According to research, lying is related to a person's social intelligence. Lies told by people with high social intelligence are also extremely skillful and convincing. Body language is often the most important element that reveals a lie.
